FCP 7 Overlays not Exporting

Hello,

I'm working on a clip 1920x1080 HDTV 1080i (16:9), XDCAM EX 1080i60.
I have some composited portions using soft light / overlay modes over normal.
Don't see the effects on the rendered self-contained Quicktime (using current settings).

What to do to get the composites out?

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Have benefitted much from many posts here by kind helping people,
'tis my first one and can't find a tip anywhere that solves it 4 me.
