NTSC DV Sequence was used for a 1080i 60 video

I did not see this in the FAQ. I finished editing a video, but upon exporting to tape (print to video), it said my sequence settings did not match the tape deck settings. I looked at the timeline settings, and it was set to a NTSC DV with anamorphic checked.
I tried to create a new sequence with the proper settings, but as I pasted the clips to the timeline, the picture is now super small on the canvas. If I render it, will it conform the new sequence settings, or is there something else I need to do?
