Having to render footage for two cameras
by

I'm working with footage from two cameras. One camera footage always has to be rendered when I put it on the timeline. The footage comes from a JVC camera. The footage that doesn't have to be rendered comes from a DSLR T2i. Is there a faster, easier way to do this without having to render that footage?
