I've asked the manufactures this very question about where the processing happens. It's in board on the AJA box only in the above mentioned boxes.
You'd need the analog to SDI converters to use an Io XT was what I thought I said. The others have analog inputs.
But still, none of them allow for the extra computer display via TB connection. None of them loops the TB connection save the AJA box, right?
