OK.

Then change your sequence to have a field dom of none. make sure that your 30p clips have a field dominance of none in the browser.

Then get a nice deinterlace filter, like revision fx fields kit, apply the deinterlacer to the clips in the timeline. That way you don't have to deinterlace all of your clips.
