I highly recommend CalDigit VR. eSATA and FW800 so you can use it either way...say when you have your capture device disconnected. Also recommend the MaxxDigital Edit Vault...I like that and the little carrying case. NO POWER BRICK on that one...which is why I really like it.

ProRes 422...Very good quality.
