As I mentioned...you need to either upgrade the rig or use a current rig and FCP setup at another location to import the footage and then convert it to DVCPRO HD. Tell the boss that what you have cannot edit the format you were given as it was released AFTER the version of FCP you are using was. That if they want to edit it, they need to upgrade...or hire someone with a more current version to handle the conversion.

There is no codec that you can add to your current setup that will work with this footage properly.
