[Arild Gimse] "
Is the signal unchanged when capturing from a dv-tape to finalcut using the "dv" option in the capture-meny ?
Can i copy the captured video back to av dv-tape and get identical video without any quality-loss ?"

Yes.
No quality lost.

[Arild Gimse] "What kind of signal is the Apple Intermediate Codec ? Do i loose a lot of quality if edeting with Apple Intermediate Codec instead of the native dv kodec ? "
Don't go to the AIC. Is a codec no much different than DV (420). Keep and work with the original files.

I would recommend you keeping the digital files in HDs. People is scared that some codecs won't have support in the future. That's true, but codecs like DV or MPEG-2 won't have this problem.
