Wayne by any chance are these fcp project files from a previous
version of fcp that have been saved and updated to run in 7.01?

reason I ask is I had some motion file weirdness completely
fixed when I made a new sequence and copied the sequence content
to the new one then saved then trashed the old one.

though I am still working with 6.x

i dunno...something to try.
