Then you need to edit in a 23.98 timeline- and use hardware (like a kona card) to output as 29.97, this is done all the time.

you will need one REALLY big array to handle 1080 60 as DPX frames (over 500 MBps)

60fps X 9 MBs per 10bit RGB frame (16bit DPX are about 11.5 MBs each)
