ProRes HQ 24fps + Other Formats in Same Sequence
by Kevin Monahan on Oct 23, 2009 at 7:03:12 pm

Guys,
Doing additional editing, effects and consulting on a feature that show ProRes HQ at true 24 fps (not 23.98).

There are some pick up shots that must be inserted, however, all are XDCAM 25 fps, 24 fps and 23.98 fps. I don't see a problem with the 24 fps footage, but should I be converting the other two formats before outputting, or should I just render them out and let them be? Doesn't appear to be any visual difference on my client monitor with the different formats.

Cheers for anyone that's been down this road.
