Codec not Found and Can't Reinstall
by Kevin Monahan on Oct 20, 2009 at 8:42:50 pm

I saw this warning today and it looks like the system I'm working on had a ground up install of Snow Leopard and an upgrade install of FCS 2009. So, there are no ProRes codecs installed on this machine. I can't render a thing in the timeline because of this.

I've tried everything I know to reinstall, including trashing prefs, chuckin' receipts, running FCS remover and I still get the "Skip" instruction no matter what I try.

Any suggestions?
