Hi Jiggy,
That configuration is right.
Set" Play All Frames'.
Set the camera as VTR.
If you can not make appear the picture in the TV, have a look in the camera menu.

PS: I've spend many years using a 21' SONY TV (cheap Trinitron).
Even if is a bad TV is better than noting.
