"PhotoJPEG - hands down best 8 bit codec to file size ratio that's out there."
However, PhotoJPEG is unfortunately not a realtime codec supported in FCP.
Would you really want to capture 3000 hours of video for editing in FCP in a codec that isn't a RT codec in FCP?
