Hi Paul - no experience with that specific configuration but I've always found your money is best put to RAM when the clock speed difference is fractional. Bus speed is also important, as you no doubt know. Are there differences there? Finally - speed is relative. If it's been awhile since you've installed near CPUs - you'll probably be thrilled with either unit. Save the quid for a good brown pub ale and your favorite mate.... :)
