batch clip rename in Log & Transfer

I tried a search and didn't come up with much. I'm NOT using P2. I'm using AVCHD. During the Log & Transfer process, FCP automatically (or maybe it's the camera) gives clips the sequential names, "Clip #1, Clip #2, etc." I'd like to rename them all, but in a sequential manner. Perhaps something like, "Reed 01, Reed 02, Reed 03, etc.
Is there a way to do this? I wonder if I can change that in the camera (Panasonic HMC150). The 150 isn't quite as "pro" as the HVX or HPX professional level cameras.
