Set the truth FREE
by Nick Griffin on Jul 25, 2009 at 9:26:50 pm

As mere mortals we're not supposed to know anything about "un-released products" and Apple has been better at making sure this is so than just about anyone in the business. So I guess what multiple people had told me to expect is now not going to be coming true?

I had heard that Snow Leopard would include an entirely new kind of Quicktime and that the delay of FCStudio was directly related to the fact that FC7 would be running using this entirely new Quicktime. Well... guess THAT'S not the case since FCS 3 is now a shipping product and Snow Leopard is not. Is it just the new Codecs that this buzz was about? Does the FC7 have hooks buried in the code ready to grab ahold of a new Quicktime from day 1?

AND... please someone tell me, before the box arrives next week, does Color 1.5 at least have an open and save system that's not from Unix Mars? I don't want a lot, just for Mac programs to ACT like Mac programs.
