Re: Some overlooked FCP7 Improvements

I use LiveType on a daily basis although I've almost never used the actual LiveType fonts themselves. It's actually a capable little titling program that does a good job fast. If you get into it a little and learn how to adjust the keyframes and the time attributes, it's much more versatile than you might realize. It's fast and easy once you get to know it a little. Sure I can do titles in Motion, but I have quite a few ongoing projects that require updating timelines with current information. Livetype was a no-brainer for this. All these timelines will have to be rebuilt using Motion files instead. As an professional editor (35 yrs. in the biz) I'm another person who will miss the application. When FCS3 arrives and gets installed, I will attempt to load LiveType from my FC@ 2 install disks. It will me interesting to see how it works from within FCP7. RIP LiveType...
