Re: clip in sequence but not browser?

Double click the clip on the timeline sending it to the preview window.
Then right click on the preview window and select "make new master clip" (or similar - I'm on a PC right now) and it will save it to the source window. You also should be able to relink the media which will take you to the browser location where the clip came from.
