Converting 59.94i to 23.98p
by chris rogers on Jul 3, 2009 at 11:48:37 pm

Howdy Folks,

I am working on a show that is being shot on the Sony F900 at 23.98.

We are doing some family video sequences shot on this camera. (Canon VIXIA HV30) I am assuming at 59.94i

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=1...

(I looked at these specs and it says the camera is capable of 23.98 playback... Should I use that?

If the first best solution is to take the footage to a UFC.. What would be the second?

Can I do this in compressor?

Have a great 4th!

Chris
