HDV project to miniDV

Hi guys,
I need to make a miniDV tape of a documentary playing out from a FCP HDV project. I know it's going to loose so much in definition but the festival it is for doesn't have a HDV deck to project from, so it's going to be miniDV
My sequence settings are HD(1440x1080) 16:9
Most of the footage was shot HD 1440x1080, upper (odd) field, but there are a few clips dv pal
I tried exporting a quicktime with dv-pal compression, re-import into a new dv pal seuence and then playing out but every camera movement (especially pans) looks jittery
I also tried copying the HDV sequence into a new DV pal sequence and then rendering. Once I play out the camera movement seemed ok this time, but all the clips had been zoomed in
Any idea/suggestion?
Thanks a million
Manuela
