rendering

i having issue with rendering key out dv footage. i am using the plug in promatte keyer 4 on a 15 second piece of footage and it's taking 20 min. does anyone have any suggestions?
the real fun begins when the program loads
running FCS 2 & CS3 MS side by side on the Mac
