I don't edit with XDCAM, so these are general suggestions. Have you trashed FCP preferences and repaired permissions? Also, run Disk Warrior. If you don't own it, order it. It's invaluable for keeping your system happy. Another thing to try is delete your render files using the Render Manager and re-render. Hope this helps.
