Capture DV with 12-bit audio = out of sync?
by Niklas Wikman on May 18, 2009 at 3:31:59 pm

I'm capturing from a DV tape where the audio is recorded in 12-bit.

FCP tells me that my captured footage does not match my settings.

Not sure, but will it be a problem if I just let FCP adjust the sequence settings with my DV footage?

I cannot find any capture preset with 12-bit audio, just 16-bit.
(I have changed the camera audio setup so it now will record in 16-bit).

Thank you for your help,

Niklas
