Oh... That's easy....

You need to go into the setup menu and turn off iLink. Hit the menu button, go to the double arrows menu (IN/OUT REC). Go down to iLink Set and press EXEC. Now, it will say HDV-DV CONV. Set that to OFF and press EXEC to set it. Select OK, then press the MENU button to finish.

Now FCP will recognize your deck for HDV capture. That's it! You'll need to do the reverse for capturing DV or DVCAM footage.
