Final Cut version mismatches

Hello. I am running Final Cut 6.0.5. I did a job for a client and turned the final files over to him for output. He is running FCP 6.0.1. He can't open my projects, which isn't a surprise, but after I had him run Software update (which had some Pro Apps updates in it) he is still showing FCP 6.0.1. (he did restart after updating)

Is there a specific place to go for FCP updates? I had him go to the help menu and link to the Apple site from there. I just don't know where else to go.
