Basketball scoreboard

Ok, I don't know if anything is available that would save me a LOT of time editing a basketball game but if anyone knows of a more efficient way to do a scoreboard that would be awesome.

Of course I can make a template scoreboard in photoshop and manually change the score (which is what I have done for football games in post) but since basketball is so much more fast paced and high scoring, it will take forever to edit in a "live" scoreboard!

Is there a better way perhaps in the way of a plugin or something? Even having to invest in something might be a possibility as we produce DVDs for many sports games.
