Two different angles in the same shot...

I'm making a sports reel and was wondering if it would be possible to put two shots in one shot on the screen at the same time.

Ideally, I'd like the shot to start with one of the shots, then that shot minimizes and the other appears thereafter. Is this possible to do in FCP? Thanks.
