FCP 4.5/MBP/Leopard conflicts?
by Michael Brown on Dec 6, 2008 at 10:34:58 am

Hi Folks,

Stuck with Digital Cinema Desktop – Main ! (or none...)

I'll try anew this way: I started a long thread Dec. 3 about External Monitor missing on Video Playback drop-down menu in View as well as A/V Settings. Despite all the greatly appreciated efforts, the only reasonable clue yet was offered by Bill Dewald who said "4.5 on Leopard could very well be the culprit". Can anyone confirm this conflict and explain why? Marc Dewey and I can hardly be the only ones to be working that configuration and faced with that problem. We both would like to choose which screen we get a full screen Previewing on. Like we explained in the aforementioned thread, we've tried all the available Mac Display settings in the Preferences to no avail. We're stuck with previewing full screen on the primary screen (in my case the MBP). Thanks for your brainstorming!

Regards from Hamburg,

Michael Brown
