Pre-stripe the first 20 seconds or so of your tape using the TC presets on the deck, just to get the right TC started.

Then, set the deck to "TC Regen(erate)" cue the deck to the right frame of TC and ASSEMBLE edit (Print to Tape) the rest of the Timeline from FCP.
