OF COURSE! Everything. It has all the connections you need. If you need FW400, then either get a FW400 to FW800 adapter, or get a Firewire Express34 card. The MacBook Pro is intended for editing with FCP.

MacPro would be MUCH better...but if you need mobility...and the built in Monitor. The MacPro requires that you buy a separate monitor. iMac...avoid for this.
