[Ben Holmes] "Also - I am yet to speak to anyone bothered about the glossy-only screens who has actually used one"

I can't stand them. If you sit in any room with windows behind, you're screwed. ANy room with a light above and behind your heard, your screwed. The glossy screen looks a bit better, but constantly fidgeting to get the reflections off the screen drives me nuts and is not worth it in my opinion. No matter how bright the screen is you won't be able to overcome reflection without changing the angle of you, the light or the screen.

From a manufacturing side of things, I can see why Apple would do it, this keeps it simple to manufacture one kind of screen and takes the guess work out of how many to make of each kind.
I am going to wait for a 17" anyway to see what that has to offer. A faster speed bump will be nice. A quad core would be totally spectacular.
