Insert Ch3 & 4
by James Mortner on Oct 16, 2008 at 8:46:49 am

Hello all,

Getting a weird issue with FCP. Im trying to insert 90 mins of audio onto a PAL Digibeta on channels 3 and 4 ( to have an M&E track ) using a MacPro with a Blackmagic card and FCP 6.0.4

All is well until about 40 mins into program. Suddenly, there are large gaps in the audio with red channel condition indicators. This continues for 5 or 6 mins and then returns to normal. Tracks 1 and 2 are unaffected.

So WTF ? Is this a reference problem ? Im a bit stumped. Obviously I could make a digi submaster with just audio and then dub across but it should just work ... Any ideas

Many thanks all !
James
