FCP - why does saving a file not actually save the file?
by Daniel Stone on Sep 10, 2008 at 5:09:42 pm

I'll work on a file, save it, close Final Cut Pro and go home. The next morning I open FCP, open the file and find that it's not the last version I saved - it's a version I saved like 5 saves ago. If I want the save I saved last I have to search for and open the last autosave file.

Also, FCP's "Open Recent" list always reverts to a list from like 2 weeks ago when I restart FCP.

Is this just another thing on the "ways you have to trick Final Cut Studio 2 into doing what it's supposed to do" list? I just worked on a project for an hour before realizing all the changes I made last time weren't there. GRRRRRR!!!!
