I think you'll have to use trial and error. Pixels are a relative measure (in an 800 x 600 image, you have 800 pixels across, no matter how large or small the screen is). Lightwave's scale is an absolute value.
A couple of things might make it easier.
1. Set LW's camera view to the same aspect ratio as your video clip.
2. Set LW's render parameters to render out the same pixel content as the video clip.
3. Make a dummy object that is the same height as something in the video clip. In your LW scene, set it to 100% dissolved so that it won't show in the final render. Use it as a guide to set up your camera move.
