Batch rendering LiveType (.ipr file) comps in Compressor
by Rene Borroto on May 13, 2009 at 2:14:17 pm

I was trying to "batch render" several LiveType compositions by using Compressor (I thought I was being clever, since it cannot be done within LiveType). I was able to import an .IPR file into compressor, it shows up in the small preview window and you can scan through it, but when it does the compression I get a movie that only gives me a still with a pink background that says "Media Missing in LiveType File." Does anyone know of a way to batch render LiveType comps? I realize they don't "have to" be rendered in advance, but they must be rendered eventually. My FCP sequence is XDCam HD 422 720p 59.94, LiveType only renders with the Animation CODEC, so I'm trying to do the render/cross-conversion in Compressor rather than rendering in my sequence.
