Not really.
If your box is all one color, you could add an outline (in the Style Tab) Match the color in the color box with the one where you are trying to blur the edges, give it some weight and blur either the X or Y direction (or both). If that doesn't work for you, try the glow (same style Tab) and remember to put the Glow behind (Layer > Behind).
