Sonicfire pro 5 keeps crashing

I cant get it to stay open long enough to cut to one video. I run a PPC mac G5 and every time I add or sample music I get the spinning wheel then the program shuts down. I imported a self contained QT movie from FCP to cut music with. Any help would be much appreciated.
