Biscardi Creative Media is seeking a Video Editor for a one year contract. This contract position has the potential to continue for several more years.
Good storytelling and story composition skills are a must for this position as are people skills. Content is king in our day to day work so a demo reel that emphasizes your story editing abilities over motion graphics will get you noticed.
Candidate must have an excellent proficiency in Apple’s Final Cut Pro software.
This is an entry to mid-level editing position.
Primary responsibilities include:
Video Editing short and long form projects.
Video Compression and preparation of materials for internet distribution.
Audio Sweetening to meet Broadcast Standards.
Color Enhancement to meet SD and HD Broadcast Standards.
Mastering of projects for delivery as specified.
Graphic Design.
Motion Graphic Design.
DVD Authoring and replication.
Management of projects through Project Management system.
Secondary responsibilities include:
BluRay Authoring and replication.
Archive and library database management of all production materials.
Assist on-site clients as directed.
Helping to maintain the facilities.
Other tasks as assigned by Biscardi Creative Media management.
