Compositor & Artist. experience in tv or film.
Responsibilities Include:
• to learn our proprietary tracking and compositing software
• create and integrate 3d elements into scenes when necessary.
• Execute mock ups to spec
• Become part of the compositing team
Prior software experience:
Mandatory Experience: Editing, paint, art, illustrative software packages coupled with a television and or film backgroung.
Helpful Experience: Any Adobe software dedicated to grpahics or editing, Quantel, Discreet, Avid, FCP, Shake, Fusion, DVD authoring, web experience
We are interested in finding the right candidate. Students with strong art, editing and or compositing skills and minimal work experience are welcomed to apply. Our policy is to start every employee off as freelance then convert to full time. Industry trends have us anticipating ramping up our creative/production staff substancially in 2009.
Hours: in general M-F / 9-5 however as in any production position ability to work overtime and the occasional weekend is necessary. Office: NYC Penn Station area. (No relocation assistance is available at this time.)

Who MirriAd is:
MirriAd (www.mirriad.com) delivers Brand Integration into videos ranging from studio quality productions (feature films) to user generated content. This allows In Video Advertising, as brands and objects can be seamlessly and organically placed into video streams, looking just like they were always there.
MirriAd has established several production facilities globally where all such embedded advertising is performed on industry standard PC platforms using tools developed, copyrighted and owned by MirriAd. These facility, referred to as AdLab, receive clips in multiple formats: data files, tapes or hard disks along with brand images. Our job is to deliver the finished product to instructions provided by the client adn MirriAd's Creative Services team.
The key to our success is rapid turnaround to a quality standard acceptable to film-makers and other content producers. Typical assignments are the insertion of 3D objects into video streams over 15 seconds with care for lighting and shadowing / reflections. Using standard and proprietary tools developed by MirriAd assignments range from hours to days.
