Looking for an exceptionally skilled lead or senior 3D animator for a next-generation action game. The ideal candidate has solid experience animating human/biped actors and understands the workings of complex character rigs. Experience with body movement, anticipation, overshoot, follow-through, secondary motion, forward and inverse kinematics, and other aspects of animation is essential. The lead animator must have experience managing a team of animators and familiar with the character creation process (concept, modeling, texturing, rigging…etc.) -- and be well-versed in Maya and related tools. The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, produces top-notch work, accepts art direction and inspires animators to achieve their best work.
Primary Responsibilities: You will be responsible for creating a variety of exceptional 3D animations.
Several samples of your work demonstrating your animation skills of vehicles & characters should be included. It is strongly recommended that you include enough samples to demonstrate your range of creativity and skill. If your work is part of a team effort, please clearly indicate your specific contributions.
