Recruit personnel for Broadcast and Corporate Video Production and AV job openings. Manage internal database of creative and technical talent to maximize excellent matching of people with placements.
Perfect position for Production Manager/Production Coordinator who enjoys the people side of the business or a Recruiter looking to focus solely on the Media industry. Casual workplace, flex benefits and PTO.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform searches for qualified candidates for Full Time and freelance opportunities according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals
•Publish job openings and maintain library of job descriptions
•Manage internal personnel database, keeping information current and providing resources company-wide
•Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
•Work closely with various divisions to evaluate immediate and future staffing and personnel needs and trends
•Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills
•Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
•Screen and interview applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
•Arrange for interviews and provide travel arrangements as necessary
•Conduct reference and background checks on applicants
•Research recruiting mechanisms and new avenues for personnel interaction; Advise management on organizing, preparing, and implementing recruiting programs
Requirements
•4-year college degree in Human Resources, Communications, Broadcast Media or related field.
•3+ years experience in hiring for broadcast video production or media recruiting & staffing
•A flexible attitude, superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential.
•Intuitive nature and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
•Ability to quickly learn client’s custom needs and company’s custom operations.
•Candidate must be a self-starter and a team player
