Major Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison among clients, Account Executives (AE), and Production Team. Develop scripts according to client's needs. Work directly with the client, AE and Production team on creative concepts. Secure production locations and arrange for additional crew members as needed. Responsible for the direction of talent during the production. Responsible for selecting music and special effects for video projects. Recommend alternative methods for shooting and editing to enhance each production project. Operate all audio/video/photo equipment necessary to complete assignment including Betacam and Mini-DV cameras and VTRs. Edit daily assignments such as full productions, tags, revisions, remixes, re-edits, in house sales and marketing projects. Make videotape and DVD dubs as needed, black and time-code tapes. Independently research and gather information and tapes for editing of tags and revisions. Work with production manager to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner. Perform other related duties as assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Minimum Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years Producer/Director experience. Bachelor's degree in television and film production or closely related field preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, sales and management. Proven creative and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization. Working knowledge of Betacam and Mini-DV cameras and VTRs, Final Cut Studio, Adobe Photoshop and Macintosh OSX . Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
