Beginner-friendly tutorial for Twixtor Pro?
by Juuso Voutilainen on Oct 30, 2009 at 8:50:44 am

Hi, I have read the Twixtor and Twixtor Pro manual and searched the internet and Creative Cow forums quite a bit thoroughly without really finding a informative tutorial about creating and applying the foreground and background mattes, usage of tracking points and geometrical splines, all of the advanced motion guidance tools. So I would like to ask that if there exists, or if anyone could take some time and explain how to use this advanced features I would be very, very grateful. I am searching for best-possible slow-motion, and I am not getting satisfactory result with default settings, alot of disturbing artifacts appear. I have tried RealViz ReTimer PRO also, it has quite a bit good results, but it has some glooping (background distorting near foreground objects) and the output slow-motion video suffers from somekind of flickering (rapid luminance changes in video), so that is not good either. I am using Canon HV30 with 60i mode and a shutter speed of 2000. Thank you very much

Greetings
Juuso Voutilainen
