Freeze on PPro CS6

I installed Color Finesse 3 Version 3.0.7 on PPro CS6 after using it on PPro CS5.5 with no problems. Now even after rendering the playback freezes after a few seconds, not only on that clip affected but on others on the same sequence. If I remove it from the the clip the problem continues until I close the project and then open it again. I have the plugin installed in several places as I am still keeping the earlier versions of PPro and Aftereffects for a while during transition. If I take it off the earlier versions will the problem go away? Also is there a way to keep the settings applied to earlier projects when I import them into the new installation of CS6. As it is now CFinesse is gone on the clips after import and I will have to redo everything after import.
