Try an older version of QuickTime for Windows, as the latest 7.6.4 update seems to have broken a number of apps. I've found quite a few recent reports of this with apps other than Color Finesse.

We're looking into whether this is something we can fix in our code, or if we'll need to wait for another update from Apple.
