Thanks for your great reply Bob, that would explain it. Amazing that in all my readings about video, not once have I seen the fact that PAL video is calibrated using a differently unit. Funny how most writings on video focus exclusively on a minority standard like NTSC - so much for a global market. A good amendment to the User's Manual for CF no doubt...
