weird child ofset when moving parent geometry

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem I've encountered before but have never been able to solve. Basically when I move my parent object it's children also move but to an offset position.
The project I'm dealing with now. My parent is polygon geometry, a radio. The children are a joint chain bound to an antenna and a hair follicle system to make the antenna move and bend when the radio moves or is deformed. When I move my radio on the x axis, the antenna bends beautifully but it also makes a bigger move on the x-axis. So does the joint chain.
It seems to be some sort of parenting issue.
Thanks,
Wouter
