Thanks Alvaro,
I'm now using a uxtheme dll patcher for XP SP3, and some msstyles (Visual Styles) from deviantART
this way there is no extra load on memory or CPU, Seems to work great, I now have a great looking UI for Maya 2008 :)

BTW: Your Maya Logo Tut was just great, what are you doing next?
