Lenses for 58 mm thread-step up to 62 or 72 mm?

I shoot on a Canon Vixia HF S21 and am looking for wide angle and telephoto lenses. It has a 58 mm thread. I have some cheap ones that I used on my Vixia HV30, though only the wide angle lens was useful. You could see the sides of the casing for the telephoto lens, and the wide angle lens is 58 mm but on the HF S21 you can see the sides of the casing.
So I'm looking for 62 or 72 mm lenses but am not finding much information online about what, if any lenses, would give a decent picture for my HF S21. I really don't know if there are any that will be suitable for the HF S21. It doesn't seem like there are any lenses made to work with this kind of camera (which is probably because it's a consumer camcorder, though it gives great video), and the few that claim to be for it are very cheap and ones that I've used before, and I had the standard problems that come with bad lenses.
But, maybe I should just wait to upgrade cameras and get quality lenses. Anyone have experience with this?
